Aluminium window systems become truly durable in coastal environments only when they are protected against filiform corrosion — a type of corrosion that appears as “bubbles” on the coating, typically starting from the profile’s corners.

The solution to filiform corrosion is ELVIAL’s 2IN1 Pre-Anodizing.
In our state-of-the-art production facilities, we operate the only vertical coating line in Greece, and the seventh worldwide, featuring continuous-flow Pre-Anodizing. This process is now certified according to Qualicoat and carries the SEASIDE (PRE-OX) label.
This means it is the only method that ensures maximum protection of aluminium against corrosion.

The Uf value (U-frame) refers to the energy performance of the frame and indicates how effectively the aluminium profile reduces heat transfer from the interior to the exterior.
The lower the Uf value, the higher the insulation performance of the system.
The Uw value (U-window) expresses the overall energy performance of the window, taking into account the aluminium frame, the glazing unit and the system’s additional components.

Sealing is the key factor that determines whether a window system is truly impermeable.
With ASS – Advanced Sealing System, ELVIAL provides triple-level sealing using specially engineered EPDM gaskets, vulcanised corner joints, and — at the most vulnerable point of double-sash windows — exclusively elastic sealing caps for the central mullion.
Thanks to the elasticity of the material and the flexible design, gaps are eliminated, and the elastic sealing cap fits perfectly on the aluminium surface, achieving complete sealing.
