ESSENCE CLADDING CL180

In a place where land meets sea through pronounced changes in elevation, LAMA HOUSE does not seek to stand out. It chooses to belong. To inscribe its own presence within the landscape in a calm, almost natural way, as if it had always been there.

Its architecture emerges directly from the ground itself. The site’s change in elevation is not treated as a constraint, but as an opportunity. Excavations and elevated planes alternate, allowing the building to be positioned organically within the terrain. A continuous architectural element wraps around the interior space, acting as a filter between inside and outside, framing views and guiding natural light.

THE VIEW AS THE CENTRAL CONCEPT

All spaces open toward the South, with the sea becoming the silent protagonist. Linear lines guide the gaze toward the horizon, while light permeates the residence unobstructed, dissolving the boundaries between interior and exterior. The main functions unfold in a continuous flow and extend outward, alongside the water and through gardens that embrace the space, allowing nature to enter and inhabit the house.

A MOVEMENT THAT EVOLVES

At the lowest level, where the ground naturally recedes, the parking area is discreetly integrated into the composition. Its entrance—the garage door—clad with ESSENCE CLADDING CL180, functions as a quiet architectural gesture: an element that does not seek attention, but completes the overall narrative, allowing for its full integration into the building envelope and the preservation of the façade’s morphological continuity.

MATERIALS THAT SPEAK SOFTLY

Concrete, metal, and stone compose a restrained palette that balances solidity and refinement. Dark surfaces add depth, natural tones reflect light, while greenery and voids allow nature to penetrate the interior, transforming the residence into a luminous, living space.

LAMA HOUSE is not merely a contemporary residence. It is a quiet dialogue between architecture and landscape, where land, light, and horizon coexist without tension.

A space where form recedes to give prominence to experience, and where materials—shaped by time and natural light—compose a balance that is both essential and timeless. A residence that does not seek to impress, but to belong.
