This year’s OPEN WALK highlighted the industrial heritage of Western Thessaloniki through a route that began at Villa Petridis and concluded in the Slaughterhouse district. The tour included important stops at emblematic industrial complexes such as Fix and, of course, Hub 26 – where ELVIAL has contributed with its advanced architectural systems.
The event offered the public the opportunity to explore spaces that reflect the history of the city’s industry, while at the same time showcasing their transformation into modern, sustainable buildings. In doing so, it emphasized the role of industry in shaping the identity and evolution of the city.
For ELVIAL, supporting such initiatives is a strategic choice, as it reflects the company’s deeper orientation towards a new chapter in construction — one where quality, innovation, and sustainability are integral to the architectural experience.
The participation of hundreds of visitors and the contribution of volunteers highlighted the vibrancy of the event and reaffirmed the importance of experiential engagement with the historical and modern productive activity of Thessaloniki.
